David W. Hallman, Ph.D., R.Psych received his training in the Psychological brain labs of Simon Fraser University and the Neuropsychological clinics of the University of Victoria. He is a registered psychologist of the British Columbia (#: 851) and Saskatchewan (#: 226) Colleges of Psychology, and is registered with the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (#: 04180). He is also a fraternal member of the British Columbia, Canadian, and American Psychological Associations, the International Neuropsychological Society, and a professional member of the National Academy of Neuropsychologists.
Dr. Hallman has assessed over 4000 adults, children, and infants with challenging behaviours, neurological or cognitive deficits, academic problems, and emotional or mental handicaps. His experience includes 11 years with the Glendale Lodge Society, 18 years with the North Region Mental Health Support Team (now known as Northern Health’s Developmental Disabilities Mental Health Team), supervision and direction of an 8 member assessment team, specialized assessments for CLS of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Social Services, and assessments for CDCs, Adult and Youth Psychiatric Forensic Centres, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Centres, Acquired Brain Injury agencies and societies, School Districts, Government Ministries, ICBC, WCB, Workers’ Advisory, Lawyers, and numerous private referrals throughout B.C.
